HIM Record Promotions brings new concepts and ideas to the professional relationship between the independent artist and the label or venue. By networking and partnering with other entities with similar passion and goals, we believe that we can help foster a paradigm shift from a mindset that professional independent artists are "indentured servants" to a mindset that musicians are well trained, technically skilled professionals like any other profession, and deserve the respect and wages as a doctor, lawyer, accountant, plumber, etc. Imagine the world with absolutely no music or no one who can either compose or play it. I heard someone say that one can take the musician from his keyboard to usher the door, but you can't take the usher to the keyboard.

 

We believe that music involves the following three areas:

1. Artistry - Creative Skill or Ability

2. Business - Distributions, Sales & Marketing, Recording, Licensing, Copyright, contracts, etc.

3. Ethics - Artists deserve the same respect as other professions. We respectfully do not question the cost associated with medical providers, legal representation, accountants, plumbers, mechanics. Professional musicians have been training since they were young children, and like doctors, etc., it doesn't stop after a four year degree.

 

HIM Records brings new concepts and ideas to the relationship between the record company and the artist. We offer the artist a venue to work on a project from start to finish. Our focus is on the artist by offering assistance with the production, promotion and distribution of their project.
